The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almodovar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hassan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Some wild striking there from Hassan.
Hassan throws the kick towards the body but Almodovar avoids it.
Almodovar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hassan cracks Almodovar with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hassan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Almodovar misses with an uppercut.
Hassan throws a series of punches but Almodovar avoids them all with ease.
As Hassan looks to move away, Almodovar throws a big counter combo bu Hassan just gets out of the way.

The crowd cheers as Hassan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Almodovar doesn't seem phased though.
Hashim Jalilul Hassan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Almodovar steps in with a hook that catches Hassan right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Almodovar follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hassan looks absolutely devastated.
