Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Kenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua comes to the cage accompanied by Freak on a Leash by Korn. Kenner has chosen ''Death Wish'' by Jadakiss feat. Lil Wayne as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DeAngelo Kenner!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tua misses with a double jab.
Tua stuffs the takedown attempt from Kenner. Kenner gets slowly back to his feet.
Kenner misses the jab.
Kenner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tua works the jab nicely.
Tua throws a jab when Kenner was well out of range.

Kenner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tua was covering up waiting for the punch and Kenner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tua seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kenner working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tua has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kenner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tua. Kenner does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tua throws a right and a left that Kenner avoids nicely.
Tua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kenner fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tua checks it well.
Tua throws a body shot but no joy.

Kenner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kenner dodges the punch combination from Tua.
Tua bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kenner's head backwards.
Kenner looks to score with a jab to the body but Tua is just out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kenner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tua has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tua and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nice defenses there by Kenner.
Tua throws a jab but it's blocked by Kenner.
Kenner lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tua swings for the body but Kenner moves out of range.

Kenner shoots in for a double leg but Tua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tua swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Some bone on bone action there as Tua checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Kenner is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Tua. Kenner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kenner scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tua takes one to the chin there.
Kenner wants to land a leg kick but Tua is out of range.
Kenner swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kenner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tua.
Kenner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Tua throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like DeAngelo Kenner has been cut.

Kenner shoots for a double leg takedown but Tua sprawls well. He's pushed Kenner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
