Bennett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stronger, Kanye West. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nishiura wants to clinch up but Bennett keeps it at a distance.

Bennett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Nishiura lands a nice shot to the body.
Bennett managing to block the knees to the body from Nishiura.
Bennett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nishiura has him pressed against the ropes.

Nishiura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nishiura moves out of range of the body kick.
Nishiura avoids the head kick by Bennett.

Bennett takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Bennett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nishiura.

Nishiura closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Nishiura closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Nishiura lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
