Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarred Rose!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Nga's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nga feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Nga counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rose wants to clinch
and Nga connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rose chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nga can pounce on him.
Rose shoots in looking for a takedown. Nga tries to sprawl out of it but Rose keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nga dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rose. That did some damage!

Rose misses with a takedown attempt - Nga sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
