Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Prince Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Wendell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willy Wendell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Prince Juarez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Prince Juarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willy Wendell!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez stuffs the takedown.
Juarez appears to be looking for a big counter.
Juarez throws a combination. Wendell tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Willy Wendell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Juarez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wendell is working away from the top position though.

Wendell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Prince Juarez will probably get the nod.
That's time! Juarez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Juarez leaves Wendell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Juarez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wendell was covering up waiting for the punch and Juarez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Juarez wants to stand and escape but instead Wendell has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Wendell is looking to work some ground and pound but Juarez has wrist control.
Wendell forces his way into half guard.

Juarez kicks Wendell off and gets back to his feet.

Wendell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wendell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Juarez sneaks back into half guard.

Willy Wendell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wendell scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Juarez is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wendell can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
