Hood tries to keep at a distance but Lashley has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lashley works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lashley postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Hood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lashley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hood is really struggling to control Lashley but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Hood is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lashley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hood's head.

Hood is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lashley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lashley has managed to get both his arms back between Hood's legs - danger averted.

Lashley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hood pushes a forearm under Lashley 's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lashley is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
