The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veljanovski misses with a takedown
and Spangler counters with a straight right hand.
Left hook, right uppercut from Spangler.
Spangler circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Spangler to counter with a crisp jab.
Veljanovski throws a wild hook but Spangler just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Veljanovski gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Spangler raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spanky Spangler!
