The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dog crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from de Silva - the referee stops the clock and Dog gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says de Silva. Dog manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
de Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
de Silva misses with a double jab.

Dog scores with a takedown into de Silva's guard.
de Silva wants to stand but Dog is controlling the position.
de Silva is trying to control the position but Dog postures up.

Dog stands up from de Silva's guard - Dog perhaps looking for a knockout.
de Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
de Silva throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by de Silva.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dog.

de Silva lands with a slapping head kick.

de Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
de Silva lands a nice hook to Dog's body. Dog takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dog fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
de Silva connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Dog to the floor! de Silva dives in looking for the finish!

de Silva connects with a stiff jab that staggers Dog - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
