The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramon throws a nice looking combination but Thrax Ii bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thrax Ii keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ramon.

Thrax Ii drives through with a takedown into guard.
Thrax Ii controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Thrax Ii drops back looking for a leg! Ramon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ramon manages to kick Thrax Ii off! Thrax Ii jumps back into Ramon's guard.
Thrax Ii wants to control from the top but Ramon keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thrax Ii trying to control but Ramon is working from the bottom.
Thrax Ii takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Ramon pulls Thrax Ii in close to his closed guard and prevents Thrax Ii from doing any damage or advancing position.

Thrax Ii wants to control from the top but Ramon keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thrax Ii is defended easily by Ramon.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thrax Ii.
Thrax Ii has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ramon is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ramon tries to close the distance and clinch but Thrax Ii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thrax Ii is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Ramon ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Thrax Ii out cold! The fight is over!
