Lopez has chosen Vamos as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez lands a jab.
Paul wants to clinch but Lopez slips to the side
and Lopez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Paul's knee momentarily.
We've been told by Paul's head coaches at Pitbull MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lopez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paul tries to clinch up.
Lopez jabs Paul to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Paul tries a head kick but it misses.
Paul misses with a hook.
Paul connects with a high kick.

Lopez scores with the left hand. Paul knows he should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paul shoots in for a takedown but Lopez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Jed Paul has been cut.
Lopez thuds his shin into the meat of Paul's side.
Paul closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lopez circles away.

Lopez moves in close and cracks Paul with a massive right hand! Paul, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lopez!
