Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre throws a leg kick but Kruth moved away.
Kruth looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kruth shoots for a double leg takedown but Andre sprawls well. He's pushed Kruth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kruth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Andre manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

My spies in Get Ripped or Die Mirin inform me that Kruth has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Andre fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kruth.
Andre moves out of range of the leg kick from Kruth.
Kruth gets a double leg takedown into Andre's guard.
Andre pulls Kruth in to control the position.

Andre attempts a counter takedown but Kruth avoids it well and moves away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kruth crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Andre - the referee stops the clock and Kruth gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Andre. Kruth manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Kruth's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Andre connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kruth scrambles back to his feet.
Kruth looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andre is fending him off so far but Kruth persists. Nope, Andre circles away and we're back to standing.
