Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Dobbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donovan Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Dobbins!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobbins is looking to clinch.
Dobbins throws a body kick that misses.

Wall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dobbins!
Wall has knee on belly momentarily but Dobbins bucks him off and regains half guard.
Wall trying to control from half guard but Dobbins is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dobbins tries to get to full guard but Wall has control of the leg.
Wall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dobbins keeps working.
Wall is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wall is looking to take a break and control but Dobbins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dobbins wants to improve his position but Wall is controlling well.
Dobbins felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Wall is looking to pass Dobbins's guard but actually Dobbins recovers to full guard.
Dobbins is pulling down on Wall's head. It's preventing any offense from Wall, at least for the moment.
Wall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dobbins has his foot on Wall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wall works his way back into a safe position though.

Dobbins is looking for a triangle but Wall pushes his legs off easily.
Wall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dobbins leaves Wall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Wall is trying to work for a sweep but Dobbins has mounted him!
Dobbins lands a couple of good shots and Wall has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Wall wants to control his opponent's hands but Dobbins gets his hands free.
Wall is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Dobbins.

Wall rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Dobbins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wall is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dobbins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wall gets full guard.
Wall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dobbins's guard.

Dobbins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dobbins has a closed guard, preventing Wall from standing up.

A close round but Bo Dobbins will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Dobbins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wall is trying to defend but Dobbins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dobbins is controlling the pace.
Wall is pressing down on Dobbins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wall manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Dobbins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wall haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Wall wants to control the position but Dobbins says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Wall is looking to escape.
Bo Dobbins has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wall is looking for a sweep. Dobbins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wall wants to get back to his feet.
Dobbins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Wall wants to improve his position but Dobbins is controlling well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dobbins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wall is just riding it out for now. Dobbins eventually gives up the hold.
Wall scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dobbins manages to mount him!

Wall wants to get back to his feet.
Dobbins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Wall won't allow Dobbins to sweep him here.
Wall wants to control from the top but Dobbins keeps moving.
Wall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bo Dobbins will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Dobbins lands a high kick!


It looks like Donovan Wall has been cut.
Bo Dobbins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dobbins - that will leave a mark!
Dobbins misses with a head kick.
Wall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Dobbins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dobbins goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wall turns into him and now he's in Dobbins's guard.
Wall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wall postures up in Dobbins's guard and throws a big left but Dobbins blocks it.

Dobbins is trying to control the position but Wall postures up.

Dobbins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wall defends it easily.
Wall wants to control from the top but Dobbins keeps moving.
Wall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dobbins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Wall wants to stand but Dobbins has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wall gets caught napping as Dobbins dives in and scores a takedown. Wall manages to retain guard.

Wall is trying to stand up here but Dobbins is controlling him well.
Donovan Wall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bo Dobbins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dobbins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Bo Dobbins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dobbins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
