The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tisen with a poor takedown

and Hesten counters by clinching up.
Tisen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hesten's defenses.
Tisen lands a nice knee to the body.

Tisen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tisen closes the distance and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Tisen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Hesten tries to pull guard but Tisen won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tisen throws out a leg kick but Hesten moves out of range and Tisen only half commits.

Hesten looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tisen!
Hesten throws a strike aimed at the side of Tisen's head but Tisen avoids it well.
Tisen tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

You get the feeling that Tisen really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The referee warns Tisen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tisen is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Tisen wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Hesten has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Tisen taps furiously! This one is all over!
