The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Gracie.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Gracie misses with a head kick.
It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gracie throws a solid leg kick but Johnson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gracie.
Johnson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Gracie throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson checks a low kick from Gracie.
A quick step to the side and Johnson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Johnson takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Bruce Johnson has been cut.
Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie throws a push kick but Johnson slaps the foot to one side.
Gracie throws a chopping leg kick but Johnson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Gracie tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gracie.
Gracie throws a body kick that misses
and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Johnson lands with a good body shot.
Gracie looks winded!
Johnson connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Gracie to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Johnson!
