The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Bermaine Stivierne has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Herman as Stivierne shoots in.
No joy there for Herman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stivierne takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Herman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Herman looks to score with a jab to the body but Stivierne is just out of range.
Stivierne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Herman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Herman sets himself, and Stivierne steps forward looking for the clinch! Herman avoids it this time.

Stivierne tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Herman defends well and Stivierne ends up having to push Herman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Herman lands a left and a right that send Stivierne crashing to the mat, dazed. Herman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
