Valderena comes into the arena with Immortal Technique - Golpe De Estado blaring out of the sound system. Kato is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 神風 Musashi Kato is gyrating in front of the ring girls. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Kato.
Musashi Kato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kato does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Valderena definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Valderena scores with a head kick.

It looks like Musashi Kato has been cut.
Kato has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kato throws an off balance right hand
and Valderena cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kato lands a jab to the nose.
Kato on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Valderena fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Valderena has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kato finds it's way round the side to connect with Valderena's head.

Valderena takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Valderena lands with a shot to the body.
A clash of legs there as Kato blocks the low kick.
Kato tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Valderena looks for the body kick but Kato saw that one coming.
Kato lands a leg kick that knocks Valderena off balance momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Valderena.
Valderena blocks the body kick.
Valderena takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Valderena fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Valderena missing with a left hand there. Kato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Valderena is rocked!
Kato has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kato there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kato throws a head kick that Valderena semi-blocks.
Oh Valderena is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kato throws a pinpoint strike between Valderena's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Valderena crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Kato scores a great knockout victory!
