The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chick shoots and misses
and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Kit Walker has been cut.

Chick stands up from mount. Strange move.
Chick shoots in but Walker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Walker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Walker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Walker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chick has time to react.
Alp Chick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chick slips a straight right by Walker.
Chick shoots in looking for a takedown. Walker tries to sprawl out of it but Chick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alp Chick. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chick drives through with a takedown into Walker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chick seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Walker for as long as he can get away with.

and Chick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
