Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Pate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeejar Yaisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaisi closes the distance and clinches.
Yaisi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pate uses from the top position.
Pate won't allow Yaisi to sweep him here.

Yaisi moves in looking to clinch but Pate pushes him off.

Yaisi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pate can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pate is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yaisi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
