Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Machine Gun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simon Petrikov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gun moves into the clinch.

Petrikov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A big left from Gun misses.
A head kick misses from Petrikov.
Gun swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Petrikov throws a hook but Gun avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Gun on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Petrikov misses with a low kick.
Petrikov throws a leg kick but Gun checks it.
Gun connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Petrikov's hands.
Petrikov cracks Gun with a right hand to the side of the head.
Petrikov keeps the fight on the outside.
Petrikov lands with a straight right. Gun didn't see that one coming.
Petrikov tries to bum rush Gun with a series of wild strikes but Gun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A head kick misses from Petrikov.
Petrikov throws a right hand that misses
and Gun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Petrikov connects with a leg kick. Gun looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Petrikov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gun was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrikov.
Gun cracks Petrikov with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fighters circling - Petrikov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That kick from Petrikov tenderised Gun's leg. Gun is trying to keep his angry face on.

Left hook, right uppercut from Petrikov.
Simon Petrikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A swing and a miss from Gun.
A slapping leg kick lands for Petrikov.
Petrikov throws a lazy head kick
and Gun counters with a stiff right hand.
Petrikov throws a lazy uppercut
and Gun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Petrikov is rocked!
Gun drops Petrikov with a huge uppercut! Petrikov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Gun is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Machine Gun!
After the fight, Machine Gun was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
