Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Damozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Haarmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haarmann has chosen Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Damozzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fritz Haarmann!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haarmann misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Damozzi.

And Haarmann tries to counter it with a takedown but Damozzi pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Damozzi lands a really nice looking cross but Haarmann seems unphased.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Damozzi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Haarmann.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Haarmann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Damozzi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Haarmann but great work by Damozzi.

Haarmann drops back, looking for a kneebar! Damozzi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Damozzi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Damozzi!

Damozzi grinds an elbow into Haarmann's temple.

Haarmann is working to avoid the ground and pound but Damozzi connects with a decent elbow.
Haarmann tries to buck Damozzi off but Damozzi is having none of it.
Damozzi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Haarmann to see if he's OK.

Damozzi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
