Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jasshole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugh Jasshole!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King connects with a body shot that sends Jasshole's belly button to the back.
Jasshole displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.
King tries to clinch but Jasshole moves out of range.
Jasshole throws a head kick that misses.

Jasshole fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with King, pushing him back against the cage.
Jasshole is working King over against the cage.
Jasshole misses with a punch to the body.
Still in the clinch, Jasshole scores with a nice short uppercut.
King is looking to break free of the clinch but Jasshole has double underhooks.
Jasshole landing knees to the body.
King letting Jasshole take a breather here.
Jasshole is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King dives in for a single leg takedown but Jasshole sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jasshole pushes King back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Jasshole lands an elbow that stopped King in his tracks for a moment.

Jasshole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King blocks a head kick by Jasshole.
Jasshole throws a head kick that misses.
Jasshole lands with a slapping head kick.
King fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hugh Jasshole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King has a takedown stuffed.
Jasshole counters with a body kick.

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

King goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jasshole has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for King but great work by Jasshole.
Jasshole is staying tight to King's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Jasshole throws an elbow but King slips to the side and avoids it well.
Jasshole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King is trying to improve his position.

Jasshole is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jasshole tries to stand but King is controlling his head.
King is not content to let Jasshole control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugh Jasshole dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


King closes the distance and clinches up with Jasshole, looking for a takedown. King pushes Jasshole against the cage but Jasshole circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jasshole tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jasshole to the ground. Jasshole escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King closes the distance and clinches up with Jasshole, looking for a takedown. King pushes Jasshole against the cage but Jasshole circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jasshole lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jasshole connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jasshole drives through and clinches with King against the cage.

Jasshole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King shoots for a double leg takedown but Jasshole sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
King fails with the takedown.
Jasshole tries a head kick but it misses.
Jasshole throws a nice head kick!

Jasshole moves into the clinch successfully.
Hugh Jasshole seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jasshole is pushing King's head away, looking to escape. King manages to hold on to the position though.

You can see the frustration on Jasshole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

King is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jasshole has escaped the position, nice work there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
King is looking to take a break and control but Jasshole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jasshole has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jasshole avoids it really well and circles away.

Ben King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King darts in looking for a takedown but Jasshole gets double underhooks and turns King into the cage.

Jasshole is pushing King up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jasshole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

King drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King stops Jasshole from standing up.
Hugh Jasshole is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Jasshole is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jasshole swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jasshole wants to stand but King is controlling the position.
Jasshole keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Jasshole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jasshole as he avoids it easily.

Nice uppercut lands for Jasshole. That snapped King's head back.

Jasshole tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.

King dives in and grabs Jasshole's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jasshole pushes down on King's head and hops out.
Jasshole moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jasshole pinned against the cage. Jasshole gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hugh Jasshole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jasshole winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
