The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kucera.
Kucera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kucera shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gullit has been working on his boxing with his coaches at NexGen Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.

Gullit dives in and scores a takedown into Kucera's guard.
Kucera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gullit passes into half guard.
Kucera regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gullit wants to control from the top but Kucera keeps moving.
Gullit slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kucera is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gullit off and has taken his back!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kucera is not going to allow Gullit to sit and survive in this position.

Kucera looking to break Gullit's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gullit remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kucera will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Kucera has the hooks in. Gullit is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kucera is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gullit knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gullit for a finish.

Kucera is trying to stick to Gullit's back but Gullit is turning into Kucera. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kucera's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gullit.

Kucera is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gullit frees his head nicely. Oh but Kucera has switched to an armbar! Gullit is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
