The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Funk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've been hearing reports that Noel has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

A jab and a right hook connect and Funk buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Funk!! Funk is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Noel throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
