Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Krukowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ottis Toole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Krukowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ottis Toole!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krukowski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A swing and a miss from Krukowski.
Toole takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It seemed like Toole was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Toole has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toole bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krukowski's head backwards.
Krukowski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toole circles away quickly and effectively.
Toole goes for a double leg but Krukowski avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Krukowski continues to drive forward.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ottis Toole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

After winning the bout, Ottis Toole thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
