Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kajun Puno and Rico Kliko. Chooooooooon! I think Puno might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 軍神. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 wins, 3 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kajun Puno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Kliko!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno ducks right into an uppercut from Kliko.
Kliko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kliko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Puno shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kliko moves out of range of the strikes.
Kliko wants to counter the offense by Puno and move into the clinch position.
Kliko scores with a jab to the jaw.
Puno lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Puno goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kajun Puno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kliko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Puno, pushing him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Kliko's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kliko is trying to break the clinch but Puno has him pressed against the cage.
Kliko tries to break the clinch but Puno is controlling the position.
Puno takes a knee right on the jaw!
Kliko is trying to break the clinch but Puno is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Puno has a couple of punches blocked by Kliko.
Kliko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kliko is trying to break free.

Puno breaks the clinch.
Nice cross by Kliko.
Puno rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Kliko counter with a right hand.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Puno jabs at Kliko's body.
A low kick from Kliko misses

and Puno shoots in, scooping Kliko off his feet. Puno is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Kliko to the mat and Kliko is in big trouble! Puno is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Puno is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Kajun Puno!
After winning the bout, Kajun Puno thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
