Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Freitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curry wants to clinch
and Freitas counters with a left and a right that stings Curry.
Freitas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Curry looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Curry struggling a bit here.
The referee asks Freitas politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Freitas prefers to stall for the moment though.
Freitas trying to control the position but Curry is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freitas goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Curry rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Freitas's guard! Nice work there by Curry!
Freitas wants to sweep but no luck.

Curry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Freitas dives on top into guard.

Curry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Freitas thows a leg kick but Curry checks it
and Curry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A big right from Freitas misses.
Curry avoids the body shot from Freitas.
Freitas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Curry sprawls well initially but Freitas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Freitas wants to take a breather but Curry is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freitas is keen to just control but Curry is a slippery customer.

Curry is pushing Freitas up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Freitas lands a takedown into guard.

Curry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Freitas's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Curry wants to get back to his feet.
Freitas is looking for a sweep. Curry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Freitas regains full guard. Nicely done.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Curry throws a big right hand that misses.
Curry wants to get up but he can't break Freitas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jaime Freitas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
