The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flarkgaard slips a jab and a cross from Litmanen.
Flarkgaard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Litmanen rushes Flarkgaard and presses him up against the cage.
Litmanen fails to pull guard.
A frustrated look appears on Litmanen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Flarkgaard wants to break the clinch but can't.
Flarkgaard is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Litmanen is defending well for now.
Litmanen wants to get back to striking at distance but Flarkgaard won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Litmanen flicks out a counter leg kick but Flarkgaard steps away.

Nice combo by Flarkgaard! Oh, that's hurt him - Litmanen falls to the canvas and Flarkgaard follows him into side control.

Flarkgaard is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Flarkgaard wants to work for an arm triangle but Litmanen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Flarkgaard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Flarkgaard steps into range and cracks Litmanen with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Litmanen flops backwards and Flarkgaard dives into his guard looking to finish!

Hoyt Flarkgaard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Flarkgaard wobbles Litmanen with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Flarkgaard dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Litmanen to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
