Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meenakshy Kavitha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustam Khabilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khabilov throws a lazy right hand but Kavitha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Khabilov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kavitha moves away.
Khabilov looks to score with a jab to the body but Kavitha is just out of range.
Kavitha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kavitha misses the shot to the body.

Khabilov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kavitha on his heels. He'll look to pass Kavitha's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round but I would say that Meenakshy Kavitha will probably get the nod.
