The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marchal is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Marchal drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marchal has Silva in his guard.
