Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between kimbo slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholi Papalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
slice avoids the body shot from Papalov.
Papalov swats away the attempt to clinch by slice.
slice scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Papalov shoots for a double leg takedown but slice sprawls well. He's pushed Papalov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Papalov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

slice misses with a few strikes there.
Papalov drops slice with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but slice looks back up at him and smiles so Papalov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like kimbo slice has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A right-left combo lands from slice.

Papalov clinches.
Papalov effectively controlling the action here.

A left hand lands to the body for Papalov.
slice wants to get back to striking at distance but Papalov won't allow it.
Papalov lands an elbow that stopped slice in his tracks for a moment.

Papalov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Papalov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Papalov looks to land a combination but slice avoids it well.

Papalov scores with a takedown into slice's guard.
slice is trying to keep Papalov in close.
Papalov prevents slice from getting back to his feet.

Papalov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

slice has his foot on Papalov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Papalov works his way back into a safe position though.

Papalov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. slice manages to get himself to full guard.

slice wants to clinch up but Papalov keeps it at a distance.

Papalov lands a high kick to the side of slice's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Papalov dives into guard, looking to finish.

Papalov gets to his feet and stands over slice, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! slice felt that one! Papalov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save slice from any more punishment!
