The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohamed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tucker goes for a double leg but Mohamed avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mohamed continues to drive forward.
A punch combination from Mohamed misses.

Tucker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mohamed, pushing him back against the cage.
Mohamed wants to get back to striking at distance but Tucker won't allow it.
Mohamed is trying to break the clinch but Tucker has him pressed against the cage.
Tucker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mohamed.
Mohamed is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Tucker manages to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mohamed throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tucker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tucker wants to stand but Mohamed is controlling the position.
Tucker wants to sweep here but Mohamed controlling him for the moment.

Mohamed lands a couple of elbows.

It looks like Pedro Tucker has been cut.
Mohamed is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mohamed distracts Tucker with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
