Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by The Freak.
The Freak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wright moves into the clinch.
The Freak gets control of Wright's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Freak will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wright seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Freak for as long as he can get away with.

Wright has control of The Freak's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and The Freak regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Wright lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The Freak down.
The referee asks Wright politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wright prefers to stall for the moment though.

The Freak pushes Wright away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wright gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Freak takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wright is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Freak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
