Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdullah Al Abulbul!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Abulbul defending well as Clark loads up on a big left hand.
Al Abulbul is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Al Abulbul drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Al Abulbul wants to control for a moment but Clark uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Al Abulbul trying to mount his opponent but Clark defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clark keeping hold of Al Abulbul's head, controlling as best he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Abulbul seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clark does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Clark controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Clark makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Clark.
Al Abulbul works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Al Abulbul content to control rather than advance.
Al Abulbul throwing shots but Clark is blocking nicely.
Al Abulbul wants to take a breather but Clark is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Clark wants to improve his position but Al Abulbul is controlling well.
Al Abulbul is pressing down on Clark's thigh, looking to free his foot. Clark is holding on for now.
Al Abulbul throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Clark is trying to maintain the position but Al Abulbul is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Al Abulbul scores with a takedown into Clark's guard.
Clark wants to stand up but Al Abulbul is controlling him.

Clark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Al Abulbul manages to get himself to full guard.

Clark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Al Abulbul is trying to control the position but Clark postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Clark seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Al Abulbul is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Al Abulbul wants to hit a switch here but Clark passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Al Abulbul there!
Al Abulbul is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Abdullah Al Abulbul dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Al Abulbul takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Al Abulbul on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Al Abulbul misses with a straight left.
Al Abulbul drops his hands momentarily and Clark takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Clark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Clark lands a jab to the head.
Clark jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Al Abulbul misses with a left hand
and Clark counters with a nice uppercut.
Al Abulbul walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Al Abulbul misses with a takedown attempt - Clark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Clark went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Clark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Al Abulbul moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clark throws a series of punches but Al Abulbul moves out of range.
Clark swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Al Abulbul.
Al Abulbul throws a series of punches but Clark moves out of range.
Clark connects with a crisp jab.


Al Abulbul is rocked!
Clark catches Al Abulbul with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Al Abulbul forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Clark!
After winning the bout, Jack Clark thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Abdullah Al Abulbul had this to say: 'No worries. I'm sure this fight will eventually be ruled a 'no-contest' given how my opponent here has a habit of pissing positive for steroids.'.
