Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ash Yeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JT Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ash Yeo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JT Money!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Money pushes Yeo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Ash Yeo has been cut.
Yeo looking for a takedown.
Yeo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like JT Money has been cut.

Money pulls guard successfully.
Money wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Money is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Money is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Yeo has managed to free his arm - good work.
Yeo tries to get to full guard but Money has control of the leg.
Money is trying to control the action in half guard but Yeo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Money works his way into side control.
Money has control of an arm but Yeo manages to advance to Money's back!
Money struggling to keep hold of the position.
Money is trying to stick to Yeo's back but Yeo is turning into Money. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Money's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Yeo.
Yeo tries to free his leg and advance position but Money is retaining full guard.
Money seems keen to control Yeo's posture.
Money will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Money keeping moving, preventing Yeo from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yeo advances to half guard.
Yeo is pressing down on Money's thigh, looking to free his foot. Money is holding on for now.
Money keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Money looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Money has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yeo is working away from the top position though.
Money looks gassed!
Money is refusing to be controlled, as Yeo sits in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Money fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yeo, pushing him back against the cage.
Yeo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Yeo can't get the takedown.
Yeo landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Yeo tries for a takedown but Money manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ash Yeo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yeo tries to land a knee to the head but Money blocks with his arms.

Yeo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ash Yeo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Money has Yeo up against the cage in a clinch.
Yeo scores with a knee to the head.
Yeo swings wildly with an uppercut but Money uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice elbow from Yeo.
Yeo managing to block the knees to the body from Money.
Yeo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Money pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Money tries to pull guard but Yeo holds him up against the cage and eventually Money drops back down to his feet.

Money breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Yeo closes the distance but Money moves to the side

and Money counters with a single leg into guard. Yeo didn't expect that.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Yeo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Money has passed into half guard!
Money is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yeo actively working from the bottom here.
Money takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yeo is trying to stand back up but Money is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JT Money dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Money has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yeo can't get the takedown.
Money looking for a takedown.

Yeo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Money is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yeo to the mat. Yeo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Yeo wants to get back to his feet but Money is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Yeo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Money gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yeo is working an open guard so Money takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Yeo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Money counters with a takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yeo is letting Money control him for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yeo is trying to get back to half guard.
Yeo is not content to let Money control the position.
Money gets to mount! Yeo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Money content just to control the position here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Money prevents Yeo from getting the reversal.
Money controlling from the full mount.
Yeo is working to get back to half guard.
Money controlling his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Money swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Yeo is now in Money's guard. A big mistake from Money there, giving up the dominant position!

Money keeping moving, preventing Yeo from controlling successfully.
Money looking for a sweep. Not yet Money, not yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Money has a closed guard, preventing Yeo from standing up.
Money working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yeo.
Money looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yeo is one step ahead there.
Yeo advances position into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JT Money showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Money throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Money keeping moving, preventing Yeo from controlling successfully.
Yeo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Yeo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Yeo is pushing down on Money's leg trying to pass to half guard. Money is fighting to maintain full guard but Yeo has managed to sneak the leg through.
JT Money has got the better of the ground game so far.

Yeo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Money won't allow Yeo to pass to mount.
Money has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yeo is working away from the top position though.

Yeo is trying to work for a kimura but Money is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Yeo trying to control the action but Money is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yeo looks to clinch

and Money counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yeo won't be happy with that.
Yeo pushes Money away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Money gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Yeo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Yeo can't do much from the bottom here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yeo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Money pushes Yeo off and gets back to his feet.
Money shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yeo as he jumps to the side.
Yeo tries for a takedown but Money circles away easily

and Money decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yeo's guard.
Yeo striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Money controlling from the top position.
Money is looking to advance position but Yeo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yeo controlling the position easily from mount.
Yeo trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ash Yeo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yeo thowing shots but they're missing.
JT Money is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Money takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight!
JT Money comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Money winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
