Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lundberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Lundberg!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown but Lundberg sprawls well.

Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lundberg's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lundberg being controlled here, momentarily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gracie stands and steps away. Lundberg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lundberg throws a lazy head kick

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lundberg won't be happy with that.
Lundberg parries the strikes from Gracie easily there. Gracie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lundberg to escape.
Lundberg is being controlled here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Lundberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but can't.
Gracie gets to mount! Lundberg was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Lundberg is in no mood to give up.
Gracie throws some wild stikes that Lundberg manages to avoid easily.
Gracie controlling the position easily from mount.

Gracie has control of Lundberg's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lundberg regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Lundberg is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gracie locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Lundberg is forced to tap!
