Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Uruk Owraa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 97 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owraa tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Owraa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lei is rocked!

Lei has taken the fight to the clinch.
Owraa tries to pull guard but Lei holds him up against the cage and eventually Owraa drops back down to his feet.

Owraa pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Owraa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lei is aware though and is defending well.

Owraa tries to hold on but Lei postures up.
Owraa is desperately trying to improve his position but Lei has a good base and remains in mount.
Lei trying to control but Owraa is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Owraa tries to hold on but Lei pushes him away.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Owraa tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Lei get's back to his feet.
Owraa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Owraa has Lei up against the cage in a clinch.
Lei tries a knee to the head but Owraa blocks it.
Lei looks winded!

Lei breaks from the clinch.
Owraa lands with an uppercut that bounces Lei off the cage and back into range.
Owraa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lei circles away.

Lei's coach down at Extreme MMA (7 Elites $250/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lei's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Lei moves out of range of the strikes.
Owraa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lei's hands.
Lei is looking to clinch but Owraa is avoiding it.
Lei stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uruk Owraa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Owraa misses with a wild combination.

Lei moves into the clinch successfully.

Lei breaks from the clinch.
Owraa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lei.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lei. Owraa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Frito Lei is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lei slips under a jab from Owraa.
Lei throws a right and a left that both miss.
Uruk Owraa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Owraa throws a good cross that connects.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lei tries to clinch there but Owraa circles away.
Owraa lands a jab.
Lei is still on wobbly legs! Can Owraa finish him?

Owraa drops Lei with a left right combo! Owraa follows him down to the ground into side control.

Lei is pushing Owraa's head away, looking to escape. Owraa manages to hold on to the position though.

Owraa is working to tighten his grip on Lei's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lei has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Owraa is really squeezing tight and eventually Lei passes out! Owraa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
