Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aristotle Polidori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonid Panteleev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonid Panteleev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Aristotle Polidori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Panteleev!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panteleev lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Panteleev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Panteleev takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Panteleev stuffs the takedown attempt from Polidori. Polidori gets slowly back to his feet.
Panteleev ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Polidori closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Panteleev regains half guard.

Panteleev kicks Polidori off and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Polidori decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Panteleev is trying to maintain the position but Polidori is very close to passing his half guard.
Panteleev felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Polidori has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Polidori throws a series of punches but Panteleev avoids them all with ease.
Polidori fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Panteleev manages to avoid it.
Panteleev keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Polidori is defended easily by Panteleev.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aristotle Polidori. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Polidori throws a series of punches but Panteleev avoids them all with ease.
Polidori walks into a stiff left hand from Panteleev.
Panteleev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Panteleev leaves Polidori with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Polidori looks to land a combination. Panteleev sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Polidori takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Panteleev cracks Polidori with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Panteleev has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Polidori to stand back up!

Polidori is rocked!

It looks like Aristotle Polidori has been cut.
Polidori misses with a combination
and Panteleev rattles Polidori with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Polidori tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Panteleev dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Polidori stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Leonid Panteleev!
Leonid Panteleev really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
