Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Fofano as Alessio shoots in.
Fofano darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fofano is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Alessio is just riding it out for now. Fofano eventually gives up the hold.

Fofano swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Alessio is now in Fofano's guard. A big mistake from Fofano there, giving up the dominant position!

Fofano shoots in for a takedown but Alessio shows good takedown defense.
Alessio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Alessio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fofano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Alessio swings around for an armbar but Fofano sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Alessio's guard.

Alessio is staying active underneath Fofano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Alessio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alessio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
