The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garza shoots in for a double leg but Wayne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Garza shoots in looking for a takedown. Wayne tries to sprawl out of it but Garza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wayne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wayne tries to counter with a clinch but Garza shakes him off and moves away.
Wayne misses with a wild combination.

Wayne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wayne thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
