PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pietr Kandinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Savant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Pietr Kandinsky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pietr Kandinsky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kandinsky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Pietr Kandinsky has been cut.

Savant drives through and clinches with Kandinsky against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Savant got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kandinsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Savant has managed to get both his arms back between Kandinsky's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Savant has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Bomb Squad NY. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Savant seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kandinsky is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Rico Savant spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
