Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Megnus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daedalus comes to the cage accompanied by Spartacus Soundtrack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daedalus has hold of Maximus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maximus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daedalus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daedalus works his foot free and advances to mount.
Daedalus postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Maximus bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Daedalus and the fight is over!
