Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nero Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Nickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickson tries to clinch but Padilla is having none of it.
A good leg kick by Padilla.
Johan Nickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickson moves to clinch but Padilla breaks away
and Padilla counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Padilla throws a series of punches but Nickson avoids them all with ease.
Nickson moves out of range of the body kick.
Nickson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Padilla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It appears Padilla was looking to counter with a kick there.
Nickson tries to clinch there but Padilla circles away.
Padilla scores with a one two! Nickson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Johan Nickson has been cut.
Nickson throws a right and a left that Padilla avoids nicely.
Padilla lands a head kick. Nickson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Padilla lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nickson at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight stays on the outside here - Nickson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Padilla bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Nickson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Padilla, pushing him back against the cage.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Padilla.
Padilla presses Nickson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Padilla jumps guard but Nickson stands there with Padilla around his waist. Padilla gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nickson misses with a punch to the body.
Nickson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Padilla's elbow.
Nickson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Padilla lands with a light punch inside.
Padilla lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nickson tries to work over Padilla's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Nickson manages to break the clinch.
Nickson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nickson misses with a leg kick
and Padilla connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Padilla displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nickson throws out the jab.
Padilla seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Padilla circles away from the clinch attempt.
Padilla scores with a push kick.
Nickson looks winded!
Padilla lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nickson's sensitive parts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Padilla pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Padilla misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nickson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Nickson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
No joy there for Nickson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nickson misses with a wild body shot.
Padilla drops Nickson with a beautiful combination! Nickson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Padilla is looking for the KO!
Nickson is rocked!
Padilla Throws a clean left jab. Padilla Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Nickson's chin! Nickson crumbles to the ground and Padilla follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Padilla!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nero Padilla!
Nero Padilla really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that BeastMode logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
