Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Dobbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donald Delacruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bo Dobbins!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobbins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Delacruz tries to avoid it but Dobbins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Delacruz to the ground. Delacruz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dobbins shoots in for a double leg but Delacruz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dobbins darts in looking for a takedown but Delacruz gets double underhooks and turns Dobbins into the cage.
Delacruz is looking for a counter combo.
Donald Delacruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Dobbins.

Delacruz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Delacruz lands in his opponent's guard.
Delacruz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Delacruz prevents Dobbins from getting back to his feet.
Dobbins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Delacruz is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dobbins wants to get back to his feet but Delacruz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Delacruz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dobbins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dobbins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dobbins!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dobbins working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Delacruz throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Dobbins tries for a kimura but Delacruz is defending well.

Dobbins decides to stand up, so the ref orders Delacruz to his feet.
Dobbins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Delacruz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Delacruz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dobbins shoots in for a takedown but Delacruz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Delacruz went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dobbins throws a sloppy head kick and Delacruz moves out of range easily.
Delacruz is looking to counter punch.
Delacruz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dobbins as he jumps to the side.
Dobbins thinks about the counter body kick.

Delacruz gets a double leg takedown into Dobbins's guard.
Dobbins keeping full guard, as Delacruz tries to pass.
Delacruz wants to control from the top but Dobbins keeps moving.
Delacruz stays in close to Dobbins's body and controls the position.
Delacruz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Delacruz wanted to stand there but Dobbins had control of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dobbins lands a head kick. Delacruz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Donald Delacruz has been cut.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Delacruz ducks right into an uppercut from Dobbins.
Dobbins misses with a takedown attempt - Delacruz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Delacruz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dobbins defends well and Delacruz ends up having to push Dobbins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Delacruz shoots in looking for a takedown. Dobbins tries to sprawl out of it but Delacruz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dobbins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Donald Delacruz will probably get the nod.

That's time! Delacruz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Delacruz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dobbins.

Dobbins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delacruz sprawls well initially but Dobbins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Delacruz pushes Dobbins off but Dobbins dives into side control.
Delacruz pushes Dobbins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dobbins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Delacruz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Dobbins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delacruz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Dobbins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Delacruz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dobbins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Delacruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Delacruz wants to get back to full guard but Dobbins has mounted him!
Delacruz is in all sorts of trouble here.

Delacruz sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Delacruz wants to get back to his feet.
Delacruz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Dobbins moves nicely into side control.
Delacruz is looking for a sweep.

Dobbins is looking to take a break and control but Delacruz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dobbins wants to control for a moment but Delacruz uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Delacruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Delacruz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Delacruz wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dobbins moves into range and clinches up with Delacruz.
Delacruz has Dobbins pressed against the cage, preventing Dobbins from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Delacruz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dobbins avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Delacruz gets control of Dobbins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Delacruz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dobbins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delacruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dobbins throws a big right hand that misses.
Dobbins is looking to stand up but Delacruz won't let him.
Dobbins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Delacruz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dobbins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bo Dobbins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A right-left combo lands from Dobbins.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dobbins drives through and clinches with Delacruz against the cage.

Delacruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bo Dobbins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Delacruz tries to buck Dobbins off but Dobbins is having none of it.
Dobbins throws an elbow but Delacruz slips to the side and avoids it well.
Delacruz misses with a strike from the bottom.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Delacruz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Dobbins counters with a crisp right hand that drops Delacruz! Dobbins lets Delacruz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Delacruz is rocked!
Dobbins is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Delacruz backs away from a small jab... but Dobbins lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Delacruz crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Dobbins with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Bo Dobbins!
