Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raptor Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Preuss. Those never looked like landing.
Jones with the counter takedown but Preuss avoids it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Preuss. No joy for Jones on that attempt.

Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Preuss is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Preuss manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Preuss's guard.

Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Preuss is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard.

Preuss is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Round House MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Preuss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Preuss thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jones pushes a forearm under Preuss's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Preuss is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
