The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petzel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Petzel fails to land the takedown.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Petzel shoots in.
Davi Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Petzel.
Petzel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Petzel throws a hook but Silva blocks it.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Petzel, pushing him back against the cage.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Petzel on that attempt.
Petzel shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Petzel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Alexander Petzel has been cut.
Silva lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Petzel crumples to the floor! Silva milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
