Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Darryl Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourney Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tourney Fighter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darryl Bauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tourney Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer closes the distance and lands a one-two.


Fighter is rocked!
Bauer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fighter circles away quickly and effectively.
Fighter is still on wobbly legs! Can Bauer finish him?
Bauer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter moves away.
Fighter throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fighter seems to have recovered his senses.
Fighter throws a one two combo.
A telegraphed right hand from Bauer misses the target.
Bauer takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fighter throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bauer.
Bauer avoids the head kick by Fighter.
A telegraphed right hand from Bauer misses the target.
Fighter shapes to counter with a head kick.
Fighter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fighter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bauer.
Fighter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bauer lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Bauer tries to clinch but Fighter is having none of it.
Fighter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fighter.
Bauer motions for Fighter to come forward. Bauer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fighter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bauer misses with a body shot.
Fighter lands a high kick!
Bauer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fighter wants to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Fighter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bauer. Fighter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bauer throws a lazy uppercut
and Fighter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fighter avoids the body shot from Bauer.
Bauer blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Bauer is looking to clinch but Fighter is avoiding it.
Bauer takes one to the side of the head.
Bauer staying out of range there.
Fighter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bauer tries to clinch up.

Fighter moves into range and clinches up with Bauer.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fighter.
Fighter lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fighter lands a nice uppercut.
Bauer can't find room to land a body shot as Fighter controls the action.

Fighter manages to break the clinch.
Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Bauer moves out of range easily.
Bauer tried to score with a low kick but Fighter checks it.
That kick from Fighter tenderised Bauer's leg. Bauer is trying to keep his angry face on.
A low kick from Bauer is predictable there
and Fighter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bauer throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fighter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bauer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fighter throws a hook but Bauer blocks it.
Fighter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fighter misses with a low kick.
Fighter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fighter throws out a leg kick but Bauer moves out of range and Fighter only half commits.
Bauer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bauer throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fighter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fighter scoring well with a low kick there.
Fighter scores with a body shot.
Bauer misses with an uppercut
and Fighter counters with a nice body shot.
Bauer tries to clinch up but Fighter circles away and keeps his distance.
Fighter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fighter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fighter defending well as Bauer loads up on a big left hand.
Fighter is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Darryl Bauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bauer ducks under a wild hook from Fighter.
Bauer misses with a shot to the body
and Fighter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bauer throws a front kick that sends Fighter stumbling back into the cage.
Bauer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fighter.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bauer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fighter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bauer.
Fighter connects with an inside leg kick.
Fighter lands a nice shot that snaps Bauer's head back.
Fighter is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fighter connects with a body shot that sends Bauer's belly button to the back.
Fighter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fighter clinches up with Bauer and pushes him back against the cage.
Fighter lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bauer struggles to land a body shot inside as Fighter controls his hands.
Bauer misses with a body punch.
Bauer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fighter's elbow.
Fighter works on Bauer's body with a couple of short punches.
Bauer is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Fighter's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fighter lands a hook that snaps the head of Bauer backwards.


Bauer is rocked!
Fighter lands a nice uppercut.
Oh Bauer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fighter creates a bit of distance and cracks Bauer with a big uppercut! Bauer goes down! The referee pushes Fighter away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Bauer make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Fighter takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tourney Fighter!
After winning the bout, Tourney Fighter thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
