The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garbrandt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cain dives in for a single leg takedown but Garbrandt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Garbrandt shoots for a takedown but Cain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garbrandt is defended easily by Cain.

Cain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Garbrandt is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cain locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Garbrandt is forced to tap!
