Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keneth Byers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vitor Gustafsson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Gustafsson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Byers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gustafsson is in Byers's guard.
Byers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Byers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gustafsson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gustafsson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Byers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Byers is looking to improve his position.

Gustafsson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Gustafsson wants to work for an arm triangle but Byers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Byers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gustafsson is working away from the top position though.

Gustafsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Byers keeps working.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Byers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick misses from Byers.
Byers moves in looking to clinch but Gustafsson pushes him off.
Byers throws the kick towards the body but Gustafsson avoids it.

Byers moves into range and clinches up with Gustafsson.
Byers tries to score a body lock takedown but Gustafsson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Byers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Byers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gustafsson really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Byers's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
