Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Varce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Dub!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonah Varce!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dub throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dub fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Varce, pushing him back against the cage.
Dub can't break the clinch.

Varce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dub pulls Varce into guard.
Dub keeping moving, preventing Varce from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Varce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Varce content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Varce throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Varce trying to control the position from guard on top but Dub is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dub wants to get back to his feet but Varce is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dub really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Varce stops Dub from standing up.
Varce scoring with some ground and pound.

Dub will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Varce keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dub's head.

Varce drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Varce jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Varce stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dub swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dub throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dub lands a jab.
Varce tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dub manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Varce counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dub won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Varce looks up at the clock and then as Dub takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Varce smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Varce lands a strong strike to the head of Dub. That's dazed him! Varce looking to finish here. Dub is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Varce lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, Jonah Varce thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
