Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elbert Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nat Kyaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elbert Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nat Kyaw!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walls fails with a takedown attempt.
Walls blocks a head kick by Kyaw.

Walls has managed to clinch.

Walls manages to break the clinch.
Walls avoids the head kick by Kyaw.
Walls seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Kyaw drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kyaw preventing the sweep.
Walls could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Walls thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walls trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Kyaw won't allow Walls to sweep him here.
Kyaw wants to control from the top but Walls keeps moving.
Kyaw's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Walls looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walls is on top in guard.

Kyaw trying to keep a closed guard but Walls is proving a slippery customer.
Walls controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kyaw has a closed guard, preventing Walls from standing up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Walls or perhaps it was just good defense by Kyaw, which made it look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walls fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elbert Walls. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walls darts in looking for a takedown but Kyaw gets double underhooks and turns Walls into the cage.

Walls gets a takedown into half guard.
Walls is breathing heavily.
Kyaw is trying to maintain the position but Walls is very close to passing his half guard.
Kyaw is trying to get back to full guard.
Kyaw trying to control here.
Kyaw has his hands clasped together around Walls's back. He's all about the action.

Walls is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kyaw sees it coming and defends easily.
Walls is trying to control. Kyaw wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kyaw is controlling Walls's position as best he can from this difficult position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kyaw trying to control from the bottom.
Walls is trying to control the action in half guard but Kyaw is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Kyaw looking to score a takedown here. Walls is defending well but Kyaw drives through and ends up in Walls's guard.
Walls might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kyaw wants to control from the top but Walls keeps moving.

Walls keeping full guard, as Kyaw tries to pass.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kyaw slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nat Kyaw will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kyaw dives in and scores a takedown into Walls's guard.
Kyaw trying to control but Walls is working from the bottom.
Kyaw won't allow Walls to sweep him here.
Walls is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kyaw throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Walls works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kyaw wants to control from the top but Walls keeps moving.
Kyaw stopping the sweep attempt from Walls.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walls fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kyaw moves into the clinch successfully.

Walls breaks the clinch.

Kyaw fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walls sprawls well initially but Kyaw persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Kyaw seems content to control.
Walls tries to roll over but Kyaw keeps him under control.
Walls is not content to let Kyaw control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kyaw prevents Walls from improving his position.
Walls won't allow Kyaw to pass to mount.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kyaw uses his free foot to push down on Walls's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Walls.
Kyaw with shots to the head and body - Walls looks very uncomfortable down there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walls keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kyaw fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kyaw trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kyaw punishing his opponent with strikes.

Walls in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


Walls is rocked!
Kyaw postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Walls in real trouble here! The ref calls for Walls to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nat Kyaw!
